INNIO gas engines can be fueled by a wide range of gases, which we classify into two groups:

- Natural gas - an extremely environmentally friendly fossil fuel used for the production of energy.
- Non-natural gas sector, where the main focus is on the environmentally friendly utilization of various different biogases and special gases - such as those emitted by landfills, in agriculture and industrial processes.
INNIO's portfolio of innovative solutions give businesses and communities around the world the ability to generate reliable and efficient power at or near the point of use, anytime – on the grid or off. Our product portfolio features Aeroderivative gas turbines, Jenbacher gas engines, and Waukesha gas engines ranging from 120 kW-100 MW.
As gas-fueled reciprocating engines, packaged generator sets, and cogeneration units for power generation, Jenbacher gas engines range in power from 300 kW – 9,500 KW. The engines run on either natural gas or a variety of other gases (e.g., biogas, landfill gas, coal mine gas, sewage gas, combustible industrial waste gases). A broad range of commercial, industrial, and municipal customers use Jenbacher products for on-site generation of power, heat, and cooling.
Waukesha gas engines
As gas-powered reciprocating engines and fuel rating units, Waukesha gas engines range in power output from 120 kW – 3,605 kW (160 bhp – 4,835 bhp). The engines run on a wide range of fuels, including variable quality field gas. Waukesha* gas engines are known for their durability and performance in harsh, remote environments involving mission-critical situations throughout oilfield power generation, gas compression and mechanical drive.
Heat, light and carbon dioxide (CO2) promote plant growth. Plants grow by converting CO2 to carbon through photosynthesis. Modern technology can provide you with heat, electricity and CO2 fertilization, increasing greenhouse's total efficiency, profitability and plant production.
Municipal waste contains about 150 to 250 kg of organic carbon per ton. These substances are biologically degradable and are converted by microorganisms into landfill gas. Stable, anaerobic methane fermentation begins one to two years after the waste is deposited in the landfill.
Renewable energy solutions including energy production from biogas is a growing trend.
Trigeneration or combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP) is the production of electricity, heat and cooling in the one process.
